Since the publication of The Life We Are Given in 1995, we've received thousands of letters from people around the world. Many of them have told us of ITP practice groups they have started. Many more have asked about ongoing groups or have requested the names of people in their areas so that they could contact them and start practice groups of their own.
One of our chief purposes in creating this Website is to make it possible for interested people, operating on their own initiative and within their own full personal responsibility, to locate ongoing groups or form new groups among other interested people in their own areas.
If you wish, those of you who have ongoing ITP groups can post them on the ITP Group Network, including your phone, fax, or e-mail numbers and the times of the year that you are open to new members. If you are looking for an ongoing ITP group to join or wish to start your own new group, you can post your name, intention and contact information on this network.
Both of us have been delighted--and overwhelmed--by the strong response to The Life We Are Given and The Tao of Practice DVD. It's becoming clearer every day that people are increasingly fed up with the quick fix and that the time for a long-term transformative practice that joins mind, body, heart, and soul has come.
