ITP Commitments

ITP practitioners are guided by The Eight ITP Commitments, which have to do with personal responsibility, relationships, community, the ITP Kata, physical exercise, conscious eating, intellectual understanding, and affirmations. While our practice offers benefit to individuals, many practitioners choose to join a group or form a group.

But whether we practice alone or are members of a group, what responsibility do we have to those who are less fortunate than we are? A discussion of this subject has come up among ITP members, some of whom have already acted to benefit those in need of help.

We suggest that whenever possible all ITP practitioners commit themselves to such good works and that, in fact, such activity should constitute an important commitment, which stands apart from the original eight.

This 9th Commitment (below) has been ratified by all Board Members of ITP International.

I am dedicated to finding ways of reaching out and offering help to those in need. I understand that an important part of Integral Transformative Practice is to help ameliorate the unnecessary waste and suffering in the world and advance the evolution of our species and society to a more balanced, more peaceful, more joyful condition.
